Introducing the MicroNexus power center, the electrical nerve center for your small scale off-grid battery-based power system!


The MicroNexus is a highly versatile system-integration appliance that can be used in many different configurations.

It provides a convenient, safe, efficient, tidy, and durable mounting frame and enclosure for the various electrical components of a battery-based renewable energy system, from power inputs to battery storage to circuit protection to load control.

Installers and system owners will appreciate having all the required system safety and integration components inside one simple box.

The MicroNexus is designed for hard-wired indoor installation. A variety of knockout holes are provided for conduit and strain relief fittings on top, bottom, sides, and rear of the powder-coated aluminum enclosure.

Insulated terminal bus bars and an earth ground bus bar are provided to allow for easy wiring of load circuits and earth grounding conductors.


 

 

 

Up to six panel mount circuit breakers can be installed to provide circuit protection and disconnect switches for solar PV charge controllers, inverters, inverter/chargers, chargers, load circuits, and more. PV charge controllers (up to approx. 30 Amps) can be pre-wired inside the MicroNexus for ease of on-site installation.

Battery capacity meters can be mounted on the hinged front door of the MicroNexus. The Trimetric 2025 includes a 100A DC current shunt and 1A fuse.  The Midnite Battery Capacity Meter (MNBCM) inclues a 1A fuse.

Larger charge controllers such as the Outback FlexMax 80 can be directly mounted on the top of the MicroNexus.

Inverters and other power electronics can be mounted alongside and integrated into a MicroNexus system with optional wiring harness and circuit breaker assemblies.
